Now mobiles aren't the only phones you can send texts to! You can send them to BT landlines too! Read on and we'll tell you more...

Getting started

It's easy to get started - just send one! You'll get a text message back from us, welcoming you and asking if you want to personalise the service.

Getting personal

You can personalise this service by registering your name, so the person who gets the text message knows it's from you.

Here's how:

• Reply to the text message with your name. That costs just 10p.
• Once we've received your text, we'll record your name, then we'll give you a call, play back the greeting, so you can hear how your name sounds.
• You can choose to record it in your own voice if you prefer. It's easy to do, just listen out for the instructions during the call.
• What's more, you can change how your greeting sounds, anytime you like by calling 07953 966 066 for 40p per minute from your Virgin Mobile phone if you're on our standard Pay As You Go tariff or 15p a minute if you're on our Daily Bonus tariff.

How much it costs

• Sending a text to a BT landline costs:
• Just 12p a message from your Virgin Mobile phone if you're on our standard Pay As You Go tariff or 10p a message if you're on our Daily Bonus tariff.
• Got a bundle? You can use the airtime in your bundle to send texts to BT landlines, too.
