3G refers to the new 'third generation' of mobile communications. Virgin Mobile phones that are 3G compatible and are used in areas of 3G network coverage will be able to:

  • Download games and ringtones even faster
  • Make and receive video calls

Is 3G available on the Virgin Mobile network?

Yes, 3G is available to customers who have a 3G compatible Virgin Mobile phone.

The Specific Absorption Rate level is a measurement for each phone of the tiny amount of radiation absorbed by your body during a mobile phone conversation. All phones offered in the Virgin Mobile range fall well within the maximum SAR limit for UK mobile phones, 2.0 W/kg.

 

Screen size        

The maximum number of pixels that can be displayed on the screen, expressed as the number of horizontal pixels times the number of vertical pixels. The greater the number of pixels, the better the picture.

 

Standby time     

How long your battery lasts if you dont use your phone.
