Call your existing service provider and tell them you want to switch. You might need to give notice and pay an unlocking charge. If you have any problems trying to do this, just go through your operator's formal complaints procedure first. If you're still not happy, contact OFCOM on 0845 714 5000 or at ofcom.org.uk
If youve got a bit attached to your phone number, then why not keep it? Just ask your current service provider for your Port Authorisation Code (PAC). This is a code that lets you transfer from one network to another.
